The football association has charged Reading FC's head of football operations, Mark Bowen, in connection with the governing body's breach of betting rules.
It has been alleged that the former professional footballer placed 95 bets on football matches between April 2022 and January 2024, but it states that these bets are not related to reading.
The FA has given Bowen until June 7 to respond to the allegations.
A statement released on the FA spokesperson X (formerly Twitter) account said: "Reading's head of football operations has been charged with misconduct in connection with the FA's breach of betting rules.
"Mark Bowen is understood to have placed 95 bets on football matches unrelated to Reading between April 19, 2022 and January 14, 2024. Mark Bowen must respond by Friday, June 7."
This is another FA charge related to the betting that took place this month.
West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta has been charged by the FA with violating betting rules related to his deliberate attempt to book a referee at four Premier League venues last week.
This week, Swansea City's player liaison officer Hugh Lake was fined 1,500 pounds ($1,911) by the FA for betting-related misconduct, which suspended all football and football-related activities for 12 months and allegedly placed 2,476 bets on football matches between April 3, 2018 and September 24, 2023.
